CloudAlly Setup

CloudAlly is a cloud backup service for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Once connected, Junto's AI agent can monitor backup status, manage backup tasks, and assist with restore operations for your clients.

Prerequisites

  • A CloudAlly reseller account
  • OAuth credentials (Client ID and Client Secret) from the CloudAlly partner portal
  • Your CloudAlly reseller portal login credentials

Step 1: Get API Credentials

  1. Log in to the CloudAlly partner portal.
  2. Navigate to your API settings and generate OAuth credentials (Client ID and Client Secret).
  3. Note your reseller portal email and password.

Step 2: Configure in Junto

  1. In Junto, go to Settings > Integrations > CloudAlly.
  2. Click Add Configuration and fill in:
    • Client ID -- Your OAuth client ID.
    • Client Secret -- Your OAuth client secret. This is encrypted before storage.
    • Email -- Your CloudAlly reseller portal email.
    • Password -- Your portal password. This is encrypted before storage.
  3. Click Create. Junto validates the connection by authenticating with the CloudAlly partner API.

Step 3: Map Companies

  1. Use the company mapping interface to link each Junto company to its CloudAlly account.
  2. Save mappings.

Troubleshooting

  • Connection fails -- Verify your Client ID, Client Secret, email, and password. Ensure the OAuth credentials have not been revoked.
  • No accounts listed -- Confirm the reseller credentials have access to client accounts in CloudAlly.
  • Company not mapped -- Ensure the Junto company is linked to the correct CloudAlly account in the mapping interface.
