Time Entry Nudges
Time Entry Nudges are automated weekly reminders sent to technicians who have gaps in their ConnectWise time entries. They help ensure accurate time tracking across your organization.
How It Works
Once a week, Junto reviews the past work week for each technician. If any day falls below the configured minimum hours threshold, the technician receives a direct message listing the days with gaps.
The nudge includes:
- A list of gap days with the hours logged on each.
- A Review Here button that opens the AI assistant with context about the missing days, helping the technician identify and log missed time.
- An Open in Browser button linking to Junto.
Where Nudges Are Delivered
Nudges are sent as direct messages through your connected messaging platform:
- Slack -- Formatted message with interactive buttons.
- Microsoft Teams -- Adaptive Card with action buttons.
If neither Slack nor Teams is connected, nudges are not delivered.
User Preferences
Individual technicians can opt out of nudges from their Preferences page:
- Navigate to your profile and open Preferences.
- Toggle Time entry reminders off to stop receiving weekly nudges.
This is a per-user setting and does not affect other team members.
Timing
Nudges are sent once per week at a day and time configured by your admin.
When Nudges Are Sent
Nudges are only sent to technicians who:
- Have been recently active in time tracking (inactive staff are automatically excluded).
- Have at least one day in the past week below the minimum hours threshold.
If all workdays meet the threshold, no nudge is sent.
