AI Summarization

The AI Summarization processor generates concise summaries of ticket content, making it faster for technicians to understand an issue at a glance.

What It Does

The processor reads the ticket subject, description, and recent messages, then produces a structured summary with:

  • Summary -- A brief, plain-language description of the issue (typically 1-3 sentences).
  • Key details -- Bullet points highlighting the most important facts.
  • Current status -- What has been done so far and what is pending.

Example Output

json
{
  "summary": "User reports Outlook crashes on startup after a Windows update. Restarting the computer and running Office repair did not resolve the issue.",
  "key_details": [
    "Affects: ACME-PC-042 (Windows 11)",
    "Started after: Windows Update KB5034441",
    "Attempted: Restart, Office Online Repair"
  ],
  "current_status": "Awaiting further troubleshooting"
}

When to Use It

This processor is enabled by default. Summaries are displayed on the signal detail page in Junto, giving technicians a quick overview without reading the full conversation thread.
